Membership

The Kingspoint Club, Inc. Is a private non-profit organization that was started in 1969 to provide a recreational facility for the residents of Kingspoint. It is owned and operated by it’s stockholders who are home owners in Kingspoint. The club is run by a volunteer Board of Directors. While membership is optional for Kingspoint residents, use of the facility is reserved only for members and their guests. Homeowners in Kingspoint can become a member of the club by purchasing or transferring stock from the prior homeowner or the Board of the Kingspoint Club. Approximately 70% of the homes in Kingspoint carry stock with them.

Becoming an owner of the club through the purchase of stock carries with it all the privileges and responsibilities of ownership. The privileges include use of the clubhouse, pool, dock and tennis courts. It also includes an open invitation to all club sponsored social events and classes. Club members may rent the clubhouse for personal use and may bring guests to the club. The responsibilities include paying mandatory yearly dues and an optional user fee (for use of the pool). It also includes attendance at the annual meeting (in person or by proxy) to vote on the annual budget.
